Amazon FBA Warehouse Delivery Requirements Checklist
Updated 2026-05-26
Answer: Before delivery, confirm the FBA shipment plan, destination FC, delivery appointment, carton and pallet labels, BOL, pallet count, carton count, gross weight, carrier details, and any special handling needs.
Delivery is a separate workflow
Reaching the destination country is not the same as being received by Amazon. The final delivery step needs matching labels, appointment details, carrier paperwork, and freight presentation.
Core checklist
Check shipment ID, Amazon reference ID, fulfillment center address, carton labels, pallet labels, BOL, carrier name, appointment date, pallet count, carton count, weight, dimensions, and delivery contact details.
Carton and pallet readiness
Cartons should be labeled, sealed, and matched to the shipment plan. Pallets should be stable, wrapped, not overhanging, and built to the dimensions and weight expected by the carrier and Amazon.
Appointment risk
If carton count, pallet count, or destination changes after booking, tell the forwarder before delivery. Mismatched appointment data can cause delay, rescheduling, or failed delivery.
After delivery
Track delivery confirmation and Amazon receiving separately. A delivered load may still need time before units are checked in and available for sale.
What still needs human review
- Amazon delivery requirements may vary by marketplace, FC, carrier program, and shipment type.
- Always verify current Seller Central instructions before dispatch.
